Musawa made this known via a statement issued by her spokesperson, Nneka Anibeze on Wednesday

The minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has disclosed that veteran Nollywood actor, Zachee Ama Orji, popularly known as Zack Orji, had a brain surgery.
She made this known while soliciting support for the ailing actor after her visit to him at a hospital in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
TheNiche had earlier reported that Orji was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital, Abuja after he became critically ill over the weekend.
According to a video which surface online, the 63 year old actor was said to have slumped in the toilet after feeling very weak for weeks and was rushed to the hospital where he is undergoing a series of tests to ascertain the problem.
However, giving an update about the actor’s health in a statement issued by the minister’s spokesperson, Nneka Anibeze on Wednesday, January 3, the minister revealed that the thespian underwent brain surgery.

While calling on well meaning Nigerians to rally behind Zach Orji, Musawa prayed for his recovery.
The minister said: “We have watched him entertain us, and we see him as a national treasure. So the best we can do is to ensure that we support him in getting the best treatment.
“We will also reach out to other well meaning Nigerians to support him through prayers and other means to ensure that he survives this ailment.
“God will heal him. We will do all we can to support him. We solicit the collective prayers of Nigerians.”
