By Jude-Ken Ojinnaka

The tripartite meeting between the Organised labour, Federal Government and public sector  failed to reach a compromise on a new minimum wage for workers in the public service .
The meeting was therefore deadlocked as organised Labour, again walked out of the meeting.

The Labour representatives later addressed a press conference where they called for a strike action beginning on Monday, June 3.

Sources attending the meeting said the government failed to propose an amount higher than the N60,000 it earlier offered when the parties met on Tuesday this week. It maintained its stance on the N60,000 in the Friday meeting.
