Mikel Obi, Former Chelsea midfielder, has been sacked by his club, just four months into the deal without appearing for the club

Former Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi, is currently unattached to a club, as he has been sacked by his club, Al Kuwait SC for yet to be disclosed reason.
The announcement of the termination of the contract of the former Eagles captain was made by Kuwait SC in a post on their Instagram account on Thursday,
Mikel Obi joined the club from Championship side Stoke City and was four months into a one-year contract with Kuwait SC, which he joined on a free transfer back in July.

The 34-year-old has now parted ways with the Brigadiers just four months after joining them, without featuring in their Premier League.
He was also sacked by the Turkish club, Trabzonspor, after refusing to play for them due to the coronavirus pandemic before Stoke City came to his rescue.
Mikel Obi who rejected Manchester United for London club Chelsea, had a very successful career with the London club, winning Uefa Champions League, Uefa Europa League, the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
