Mercy Eke recalls messages that earned her BBNaija spot

BBNaija fans and social media users are contesting the claim that Mercy Eke wrote the messages she claimed got her on the show

BBNaija fans and social media users have questioned the veracity of the claim that Mercy Eke popularly known as Lambo wrote the messages she said secured her participation in the TV reality show.

Lambo, who won the grand prize for the season 4, Lockdown edition of  the most-watched African reality TV show, recently took to Snapchat to share the Whatsapp messages she claimed got her on the show.

She disclosed this to mark the three years anniversary of making a pitch to the organisers of the reality tv show.

The 28-year-old BBNaija star remains the only female winner of the Television reality show out of the six editions.

In the message, Mercy Eke introduced herself before summarizing the qualities she felt made her eligible to be picked as one of the housemates.

The messages read: “I’m mercy, I deserve to be in the Big Brother House because I’m the missing link and will bring a(lor) to the table.

“….I’m a bundle of randoms. Unbridled entertainment, suspense, top-notch content and my creative instinct will come to play..

“This will definitely keep millions of viewers glued to their screen.

“Having been an avid fan of Big Brother all these years. Definitely, my calm but eccentric persona will bring spark and mind-blowing fun in the Big Brother House.”

Mercy went on to caption the post: “Oh wow, 3years ago. God I bless your holy name.”

Her claim has sent tongues wagging on social media, as the majority of those who commented marvelled at her nearly impeccable English and argued that she is incapable of writing such all by herself.
