As part of on-going efforts to sanitise the laboratory system in the country, about 15 health facilities have been sealed off in the Federal Capital Territory over poor medical standards.
The Medical Science Laboratory Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), disclosed this yesterday in a press briefing with journalists while giving account of its stewardship.

The registrar of the council, Prof Anthony Emeribe, said the monitoring exercise is expected to commence in Lagos, other parts of the South West and the rest of the country.

He said government would not hesitate to wield the big stick in dealing with arbitrary practices in medical laboratory services.
