The Fountain of Life leading gospel musician, Mayowa Polongo, Buchi, Freke, Eben, Kore of the Eledumare classic, and Vivien Stephen are gospel artistes scheduled to perform for 18 hours at the fifth edition of Harvest City Get-The-Word-Out (GTWO) praising singing night in Lagos.
G2 is an evolving concept of Harvester’s City Church, Gbagada. The initiative made its debut in 2010 and it consists of a two-day summit that creates a platform for believers in Christ Jesus; irrespective of denomination to come together in an atmosphere of corporate spirit-filled praise and worship, as they anticipate in return that God will release His prophetic Word back as individuals, communities, churches and a nation. Specifically G2 is all about release word to God in a non-Stop worship and praise on the first day and receiving God’s word back on the second day.
In the words of the senior pastor of Harvester’s city, Pastor Enyinnaya Igbokwe,
“It will afford us the opportunity to celebrate in praise over Nigeria in spite of all. As for us in harvester’s City, the troubles of this present time will not stop us from rejoicing over situations with singing. We have decided to “sing through” them and not “cling to” to them. ”
In the Past years, G2 have had prolific worship leaders across the nation such as Buchi, Freké, Eben, Kore of the Eledumare classic, Mayowa-polongo of fountain of Life, and Vivien Stephen, who led the people of God in praise and worship, and some of them will be doing it again this year.
This year 2014 edition of G2 is the fifth edition and it will commence on Saturday September 27, 12:00 midnight to 6:00pm climax on Sunday 28september 28, 2014 at 9:00am with the Word Ministration at Harvester’s city Auditorium- The ark-Plot 274, Lanre Awolokun Road, Gbagada Phase2 Estate, Lagos.
