This is coming after another popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid was given a similar honour in 2019, after he made history as the first African artiste to sell out the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Speaking at the event, Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton declared October 6 as Wizkid Day.
