May Edochie sues actress for photoshopping her family photo

May took legal action against actress, Sarah Chukwukere for adding her hubby’s 2nd wife, Judy Austin to the family photo she photoshopped

May Edochie, first wife of the controversial Nollywood actor and director, Yul Edochie has sued actress, Sarah Chukwukere for photoshopping her family photo and sharing it. 

The mother of four took to her Instagram page to share the suit she filed on Saturday, noting that she has directed her lawyers to take Sarah to court for sharing the photoshopped image of herself, her children and her husband’s second wife.

She wrote: “It is demeaning and inconsiderate to smear anyone, especially someone you barely knew. I’ve always had a loving, joyful, and peaceful family. I worked tirelessly for years, building a beautiful home while managing several businesses successfully.

“It is evident that some persons have deliberately and desperately tried to taint my reputation and “change the narrative” to suit their agenda. To me, this is unacceptable.”

She went on to warn others who may be planning something similar, saying her lawyers would be happy to make money from their character assassination. 

The lawsuit she shared, demanded a public apology and a retraction of the said defamatory publication as she threatened to sue for N500 million in damages if the thespian failed to meet the demands stated.

May, during the 2022 Christmas celebration, took to her Instagram to share photos with their four children while wishing her fans a merry Christmas.

Hours later, Sarah Chukwukere photoshopped Yul, his second wife Judy Austin and their baby boy inside the photo posted by May, which Yul reacted to.
