Manchester United have reportedly turned attention to Everton goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford and are planning to make a bid for him as early as next week.
The Red Devils are expected to add a new goalkeeper to their squad this summer amid uncertainty surrounding their shot-stopper, David de Gea, who is yet to sign a new contract with barely a month left on his deal.
The Spaniard won the Premier League’s golden glove last season and has made more than 500 appearances for Man United.
However, he has come under a lot of criticism recently for making a number of costly mistakes, especially during the last campaign.

There is a sense De Gea is not only past his best but not suited to Man United manager, Erik ten Hag’s style of play.
According to Daily Star, De Gea will be a free agent in a couple of weeks, and Man United are stepping up their interest in Pickford and intend to approach Everton with an offer worth £45m next week.
The report added that Ten Hag views the Three Lions goalkeeper as his top-choice replacement for De Gea and is impressed by the England international’s performances.
Meanwhile, despite the interest in Pickford, Man United remain in contract talks with David de Gea, who will be a free agent next month if no agreement is reached.
His future will have to be resolved first before any move for a new goalkeeper is launched.
