The man shared WhatsApp chats where his lover stopping further plans on the wedding, saying their families already met during the introduction

A Nigerian man identified with Twitter handle @VershPeter, recently took to social media to narrate how his fiancee left him heartbroken after halting their marriage plans.
According to him, he and his lover had already done their introduction before she sent him WhatsApp chats stopping further plans, few days to the date for collection of the list for engagement was fixed.
She began the conversation by saying, “When exactly do you want to marry? ” and when the man gave her a date, she replied with a baby gif.
The lady then proceeded to tell her fiance that she does not see the need to rush things and get married at the time he is proposing.

The man, who appeared stunned and confused by the reply then said, “At this point, I don’t even know what to say, guess I’ll tell mommy to stop preparation to go and collect the list.”
She responded by saying she has a lot of things going through her mind right now and she will need time to think about everything well before proceeding with the plans.
After the post made the rounds on social media, netizens trooped to the comment section to air their views, with majority advising the man to move on.
A Twitter user identified as @AyotundeSeun said, “This babe has moved on o. She was even trying to make a joke at some point in that chat! Bruh.”
Another netizen, @Okoyenonso_ wrote,” If I ever have a discussion like this with my supposed partner? That relationship ends there after.”
@Tunji_007 added, “She knows what she’s doing. She has checked out of that relationship.”
Another internet user, @Fuqforpayy tweeted, “This one is discharging you.”
While, @baldscallywag said: “She’s not scared kan kan, she just met someone who’s more financially flamboyant than you & she doesn’t want to marry you & be cheating…”
