The third leg of the 2015 Star Music Trek sponsored by Star Lager held Saturday night at De Geogold Hotels featuring performances from 2face Idibia, Timaya, Yemi Alade, MI, Do2dtun, Naeto C, Raw Nwanne, Joe El, DJ Snoop Damaja, DJ Lambo, DJ Switch and a host of others.
While M.I Abaga got an insane amount of love from the Awka crowd at the Star Music Trek concert powered by Star lager beer, he made a memorable memory for a fan during his performance.
Host Do2Dtun observed a female fan who burst into tears while M.I was performing on stage and he made her night by bringing her onstage, after which M.I gave her a passionate hug and sang to her specially.
Then there was the ‘Johnny’ crooner, Yemi Alade, who rocked an electric blue high fish tail wool hair.
Her Blue hair took all the shine accompanied by her sonorous voice and energetic dance steps.
Before Awka, Calabar and Abakaliki got a share of the excitement of 2015 Star Music Trek.
The nationwide concert tour which has thrilled Nigerian music fans for nearly two decades has a tradition of bringing the country’s biggest artistes together to thrill fans around the country and this year’s theme ‘My Superstar Story’ aims to inspire the youth to view their situations as a work in progress and to always keep their goals in mind.
After Awka, the 2015 Star Music Trek will make a stop in Markurdi, Sapele, Auchi, Ibadan and Lagos.
