Lockdown: ANLCA consults NPA on Ports operational guidelines

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has said that it would be consulting with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to seek approval for operational guidelines during the lockdown period commencing today.

It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, had in his national address yesterday, announced a 14-day lockdown in Lagos and Ogun states as well as the Federal Capital Territory, as a measure to curb the spread of covid-19 in the country.

According to a statement made available to TheNiche, and signed by the National President of ANLCA, Iju Tony Nwabunike, the association assured its members that the leadership was on top of the situation.

It stated, “We want to assure you that I am currently in consultation with Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) top management to receive the approved operational guidelines for this lockdown period. I expect to receive the full guidelines by tomorrow (today) being Monday, 30th of March, 2020.
