Living to the brim
By Abraham E. Nwankwo
Life stretched over a longer time,
With experiences fairly interspersed,
Could amount to the same in content,
As one compacted into a shorter time,
With experiences more intense.
Fuller life could so be achieved,
Through deliberate accelerated involvement,
In activities, events and experiences,
That uplift the mind and ego.
For although man cannot predictably,
The physical length of life decide,
Its contents he can influence.
Through more effective and efficient allocation
And use of what time is available.
Planning to get the best of life,
Out of every available time,
Could, therefore surely be;
A veritable approach to a fuller life.
