The man appointed by God to rule Nigeria in 2023 will emerge victorious in the February 25 presidential election, says Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church.
Oyedepo, while addressing his congregation during a prayer for Nigeria, added that the election will be peaceful.
Oyedepo’s position is contrary to the prophesy released by the Vice President of The Apostolic Church, N.O Awojide who predicted that government properties would be burnt, adding that Nigerians should expect riots.
The cleric had said: “Riots day and night will continue. When you see all these things, my people remain within the camp. Avoid night journeys anytime from 6 pm. Criminalities will be increase in the night, but I assure you, my people will not be part of mass death; my protection is sure over you.”
But Oyedepo countered Awojide by releasing cheering news for the year.
He said: “Nigeria’s forthcoming election will be peaceful. There shall be no blood shedding, no blood will be shed. There shall be peace and God’s choice candidate will emerge to rule Nigeria.
“Nigeria will enjoy good security again. There shall be peace on land, at sea, in the air and everywhere.”
Oyedepo’s remark counters that of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria that there would be bloodshed in the country.
