More cases of Covid-19 within the squad resulted in the cancellation of training on Tuesday and the request was made after the latest round of testing found more cases within the first-team bubble.

The Reds missed the services of their manager Jurgen Klopp and three players,  Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino, and Joel Matip in their dramatic 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Sunday after they all tested positive to Covid -19.

Meanwhile, the second of the Carabao semifinals will be played between two London rivals, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur today, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
