Lewandowski, Barcelona, reach  agreement on 3 year deal

Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich in 2014 and has scored 238 goals in 253 appearances for the German club in all competitions

Polish international and Bayern Munich attacker, Robert Lewandowski has reached a verbal agreement to join La Liga giant, Barcelona on a three year deal.

This was revealed by renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, who disclosed the striker jettisoned other clubs and picked the Catalan outfit.

Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday, June 4, said the 33-year-old is only waiting for Bayern Munich to reach an agreement with Barcelona over his signature.

Lewandowski recently told Bayern Munich that he wants to leave the Bundesliga champions this summer after spending eight seasons at the club.

The 2021 FIFA Best Player has one year left on his current deal with Bayern and will leave for free next season if a deal is not reached with Barca or any other team.

“Robert Lewandowski wants to join Barcelona, no way for other clubs as of today. He knows it’s still not easy to reach an agreement with Bayern – but he’s only waiting for FCB,” Romano tweeted.

He added, “Lewa has verbal agreement on a three year deal with Barça.”
