Lagos socialite and businesswoman, Omolara Olukotun, better known as Larrit has opened up on why she is dagger drawn with Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe.
Mercy tied the knot with Kazim Adeoti, aka Adekaz, a famous Yoruba filmmaker, in January 2022, while he was still married to Funsho, who lives in the United States and runs a fashion business known as Asiwaju Couture.
The wedding is the actress’s third shot at marriage after divorcing another Lagos socialite, Lanre Gentry with whom she had a very rocky union.
Her marriage to Adekaz sent tongues wagging on social media and sparked several controversies after the movie marketer’s first wife claimed Mercy snatched her husband.

According to Mrs Funsho Adeoti, she introduced the thespian to her husband during his 40th birthday party, alongside her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry.
Reacting Mercy argued that her husband, a Muslim, was entitled to more than a wife, she also claimed Adekaz was her business partner before they got romantically entangled.
Funsho has continued to vow not to accept the actress as her husband’s second wife, describing Mercy Aigbe as her hubby’s side chick.
Despite this, the actress kept laying claims to Adekaz and continued to showcase romantic moments, pictures, and posts of herself and her new husband on social media.
However, on Sunday, June 12, Larrit was seen in a viral video on social media, having an altercation that degenerated into a physical fight with the Yoruba actress.
The incident occurred during the launch of a new plaza, Remmy Gold
situated along University of Lagos road, Akoka, Yaba in Lagos State.
Speaking about the infamous fight which almost ruined the event, Mercy said that Larrit was in the habit of bullying her online and physically assaulted her at the event.
Responding to the allegation via an Instagram post on Tuesday, June 14, Larrit said her problem with the actress is her audacity to confront Adekaz’s first wife.
The businesswoman in her attempt to set the record straight said other than that, she has no other issue with Mercy’s marriage to the movie marketer, as she tells her side of the story.
She wrote, “ For the record and clarification, your marrying someone’s husband is not my headache. Your audacity to disrespect and show off, and different indirect signal.”
“You kept daring the other woman on what can she do and calling yourself ‘Aya d owner’; the husband that belongs to another woman that has kids for d the same man u married is what I stand against.”
She remained unapologetic about her physical confrontation with the actress, as she further chastised her for breaking another woman’s marriage.
Larrit continued, “If it is my crime to have offended some people, I publicly say I’m not sorry.”
The Lagos socialite accused the actress of always playing the victim to get public sympathy, saying she is devilish behind closed doors.
“Anyone can buy your drama. That’s not my business but don’t play with me.” she narrates
She went on to give a stern warning to the movie star to desist from bringing up her name on social media.
“Listen carefully. This is social media, a public platform. But don’t call my name to address issues you don’t want me to react to, period. So please do not trigger me by mentioning my name henceforth.” she added.
