Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, has expressed sadness over the passing of the Co-founder of Lakewood Church, Mrs. Dolores Osteen, known affectionately as “Mama Dodie”.
According to several media outlets, the clergy passed away due to natural causes at the age of 91.

Her death was confirmed on Thursday in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter,.by her son and televangelist, Joel Osteen.
He wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that Victoria and I, along with our family, announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother, Dolores ‘Dodie’ Osteen”.
Reacting to the development, ex-Nigerian President, Jonathan, hailed the late pastor.
in a statement on Thursday night, he described Osteen as a remarkable woman of deep faith and resilience, stressing that her “legacy will endure not only through the continued impact of Lakewood Church, but also through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and deep faith”.
