The Lagos Waste Forum received a major boost with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the European Union (EU) joining its elite group of partners.
The Lagos Waste Forum is a high-level citizens’ forum on waste reduction, aimed at co-creating strategies to drive a circular economy in Nigeria. The initiative is led by Ambassador Obuesi Phillips, the President/CEO of Statewide Waste and Environmental Education Foundation (SWEEP).
According to Obuesi, the forum’s impact is expected to grow, promoting sustainable waste management practices and contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment in Lagos.
