While it’s unclear why she was picked up by the law enforcement officers, there are speculations that it might be related to her role in a case involving celebrity auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, a.k.a  IVD, and his late wife, Bimbo.

A trending video of her arrest made the rounds on social media on Thursday morning and in the video, Blessing CEO was seen being led to a waiting armoured police car after she had initially refused to appear in court.

However, Blessing, who claimed to be Ogbonna’s relationship therapist, allegedly countered the claim, saying the late Bimbo was herself violent and suicidal.

After making the comment, she was accused of making defamatory statements about Bimbo and her family. Netizens after her arrest, have now linked her current predicament to the case.

According to DAILY POST, the Lagos State Police PPRO, Hundeyin, while reacting to the arrest, said he could not confirm the development because the policemen who carried out the arrest are from Force CID in Abuja.
