Lagos Court remands Toyin Fayose, over alleged cyber bullying
A Lagos Magistrate Court has remanded Toyin Fayose, also known as Toyin Odo O Gan Gan), in Kirikiri correctional custody over alleged cyber bullying and inciting the public against Alhaja Yinka Adesoye, MD of GEC Cosmetics, and her family members.
Fayose, an Environmental Health Officer based in Abuja, was arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy, breach of public peace, and cyber bullying.
She was arraigned before Magistrate Court 2 in Ebutte Meta, Lagos State located on Lagos Mainland, Lagos State.
The prosecution alleged that Fayose and others conspired to cyber bully and incite the public negatively against Adesoye and others.
Fayose pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court ruled that she be remanded in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre until the perfection of her bail condition which was set at ₦1 million with other strict conditions, including ¹:
– Two sureties in like sum
– Sureties must be residents of Lagos State
– One must be a traditional Chief
– The other must own verifiable property with a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O)
The matter has been adjourned to November 18, 2025, for continuation of trial .
