Alexandre Lacazette came from the bench to earn Arsenal a draw at home.

The home side started the brightest of the two sides, and they were rewarded when Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, put them ahead in the 8th minute.

Crystal Palace came into the game after conceding the goal and controlled proceedings for the better part of the first half but wasted the opportunities they created.

The visitors made up for the wasted chances in the second half when Thomas Partey was robbed of the ball and Christian Benteke punished Arsenal on the 50th minute, from an assist from Jordan Ayew.

Arsenal were once again caught in possession and Palace through their new summer acquisition, Odsonne Edouard, scored another goal in the 73rd minute to give Palace a deserved 2-1 lead.

French striker, Alexandre Lacazette, came from the bench to score with virtually the last kick of the game to end the game 2-2 and ensure Arsenal earned a point.

Despite the underwhelming performance, Arsenal moved from 13th to 12th position while Crystal Palace stayed 14th.
