The news that filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has gotten another endorsement, this time with Peugeot is barely a few months old but people, including his colleagues in the Nigerian film industry are already wondering how he pulls it off.
They are pointing to a series of endorsements the former banker has been able to take home since he pitched his tent with filmmaking. In case you have forgotten, this is not the first time he is getting an endorsement from a car company as he was linked to a multimillion naira deal when he was filming The Figurine. Do not forget that he also got a Globacom Nigeria endorsement for the Phone Swap movie and has since got a couple others including last year from Air France.
Perhaps he is bringing to bear his experience from banking to Nollywood that is why this is why endorsements are happening to him from all corners. Whatever it may be, there is no gainsaying that he is definitely on top of his game in the industry he has been exposed to since his childhood.
He was unveiled the new ambassador for Peugeot in Abuja, he was officially signed on as the brand’s ambassador during the unveiling ceremony of the new Peugeot 508 at the NAF Conference Centre and Suites, Ahmadu Bello Way. The car, which was fully assembled in Nigeria, will also be featured as one of the vehicles in his upcoming film, The CEO for which he has since completed filming.
