Kunle Adeyanju nears finish line as biker lands in Benin Rep

Kunle Adeyanju while in Ghana, said he would be auctioning his bike when he gets to Lagos and set the asking price at $25,000

Kunle Adeyanju, the adventurous Nigerian biker, traveling from London to Lagos has announced that he has reached Benin Republic, a country that shares border with Nigeria, his final destination.

The announcement came via his Twitter handle, hours after he reportedly had a flat tyre in Lome, Togo, the country he arrived in after leaving Ghana.

In the post, Kunle stood with his helmet in his raised right hand and stood in front of a signpost that read, ‘Cotonou Hillacondji’, an indication that he has reached the capital of Benin Republic.

Since his final destination shares a border with Cotonou in Benin Republic, Kunle is expected to arrive in Lagos on Sunday, May 29, all things being equal.  

Nigerians, took to the comment section of his Twitter to hail him for a job well done and drummed support for him as they looked forward to his arrival in Lagos.

While Kunle was in Ghana, he took to the social media to reveal he will be auctioning the bike he used for the trip ‘Eagle’, as soon as he arrives in Lagos. 

According to his tweet, he has set the asking price for the bike at $25,000, an equivalent of N10 million, and has pledged to donate part of the proceeds from the sales to charity.
