According to him, the scholarship bursaries were to promote sanity and inculcate right education to people. Kukah lamented that ignorance had taken over some important segments of daily lives in the society.

Kukah stressed that proper education of citizens would surely go a long way to promoting right developments, prevention of youths’ restiveness and ensure constructive direction on shaping people’s lives and facilitate growth in all sectors.

Chairman of the anniversary’s organising committee, Rev. Nuhu Iliya, described Kukah as an epitome of good leadership.

According to him, the present empowerment scheme is the beginning and 40 tricycles would be distributed to youths to engage in productive commercial activities.
