Kogi LG chairman, Muhammed Danasabe, dies hours before election

Danasabe died in the early hours of Friday barely 24 hours before the governorship election in the state.

Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, Muhammed Danasabe, has died in a hospital after a brief illness.

Danasabe died in the early hours of Friday barely 24 hours before the governorship election in the state.

A family source quoted by PUNCH said the deceased would be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim Cemetery after Juma’at prayer.

He is survived by his mother, wife and children.
