Kogi Guber: INEC’s accreditation process is flawed – Wada

-

Governor Idris Wada has expressed displeasure at the accreditation process in the ongoing Kogi governorship election which he described as flawed.

The governor lost his cool when the name and photograph of his wife, Hajia Halima Wada was not found on the accreditation sheet.

Her name was however on INEC’s original voter register. The card reader also recognised her finger-print.

But she was finally accredited without her name and photgraph on the sheet.

The governor said the flawed procedure was a deliberate attempt to frustrate the whole electoral process in the state.

He confirmed reports of the thuggery incident at Anyigba with thugs disguised with soldiers’ uniforms who snatched ballot boxes.

He said, “It is unfair; there is no incidence form; there is no photo. I leave here and I hope that they are going to do something about it.”
