Pete Edochie and his wife, Barrister, Josephine Edochie celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in October

May Edochie, first wife of popular thespian, Yul Edochie, has sent tongues wagging on social media over her online post to her father-in-law and veteran actor Pete Edochie and his wife, who are celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary.
May took to her Instagram to celebrate the couple sharing a picture of them via her page and thanking God for their union.
She wrote: “Pls fam joined me to celebrate the great @peteedochie and his adorable wife. We are grateful to the Almighty for the gift of life. 53 years and counting! May God continue to strengthen you both and give you peace”.

However, after the post, her fans and other netizens took to her comment section to express mixed feelings over her message to Pete Edochie and his wife.
While some chastised her for not acknowledging the couple as her in-laws, others praised her for her wisdom.
A netizen identified as euphrosa wrote, “She’s tactful not to call them father-in-law and mother-in-law. Great Pete edochie and his wife. Prodigal don will stain everybody’s white♀️.”
Another IG user devivsignature said, “Your sense of maturity has made me respect you more.”
Moonhope_virgo added, “I like how you used the great and his wife instead of my inlaws to show that you’re not desperate, keep shining, you’re one in a trillion.”
