Kenya denies involvement in Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest

-

The Kenyan government has denied it was involved in the arrest and torture of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

Lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, had alleged that the Kenyan Special Police abducted Kanu and tortured him for eight days before handing him over to the Nigerian government.

But Kenya Envoy in Nigeria, Vincent Machage, said Kenya was not involved in Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest.

He said those making the claim should back it up with evidence.
