For controversial self-professed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, the arrest of Raymond Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, is a divine retribution.
When, in 2018, she requested for financial assistance from Hushpuppi who is now in the middle of multiple fraud charges in Dubai, he told Olunloyo to apologise to Linda Ikeji as a condition for her getting his money.
Olunloyo apologised to Linda Ikeji for all the derogatory words against the blogger. However, Hushpuppi reneged on the promise, and according to her, they (Linda Ikeji and Hushpuppi) laughed her off.
So, when the Dubai police revealed on Thursday details of how Hushpuppi conned almost two million victims, Olunloyo gloated at his misfortune.
“Every day for the thief, one day for the owner. God bless those who donated to my medical bills after prison 2017. HushPuppi Ramoni Abass told me to apologise to Linda Ikeji to get his donation, I did, instead he laughed with Linda, gave me nothing. Ole Oloriburuku jati jati, ” Olunloyo tweeted.
In the apology Olunloyo gave to Linda in 2018 via YouTube, she said: “I never got married before having my kids, and it hurts me so bad, but I told my kids that’s the way it is, I want the best for Linda, I dont want what happened to me to happen to Linda. So I am sorry about what I said to Linda Ikeji. But she hurt me too.”
But apparently, Olunloyo had apologised in vain. Now, she said it is her turn to mock them both.
