Dr. Doyin Okupe wrote an open letter to Kemi Afolabi and encouraged her saying even though her ailment is not curable, it is not a death sentence

Nigerian actress, Kemi Afolabi has warned unsuspecting members of the online community to beware of fraudulent individuals who are impersonating her on Facebook.
The actress in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, disclosed she has been diagnosed with lupus.
She has now taken to her Facebook page to allege that some “malicious individuals” are taking undo advantage of her hearth situation.

Kemi Afolabi shared screenshots from clone Facebook pages, used by the fraudsters to impersonate her in an attempt to defraud the public.
She frowned at the fact that they are using her name without her consent on the microblogging platform, as she warned her followers to report such and not to fall prey to their tricks.
She said, “It has come to my notice that some malicious individuals are taking advantage of my situation by using my name and image against my consent on Facebook.
“I am Kemi Afolabi/Afolabi Kemi on Facebook. I hereby beckon on all my fans and lovers to disregard and report these impersonators.
“Let’s ensure that unsuspecting individuals do not fall victim to fraud from these impersonators. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, former presidential aide, Dr. Doyin Okupe has disagreed with the doctor who said Kemi Afolabi has just five years to live after she was diagnosed with Lupus.
He wrote an open letter to the Nollywood actress, encouraging her that even though her ailment is not curable, it is not a death sentence. He also said there are cases of individuals suffering from the ailment, who had inexplicable complete remissions.
