The reality TV star disclosed this on Tuesday in a lengthy post he made on his Instagram page.

The 29-year-old said his decision to take a two-week rest and seek medical attention was based on the advice of his team and doctor to stay off physical activities.

He also said due to the medical advice, he will not be active on social media and will abstain from social events during the period,

He wrote, “This is quite a sad note for me to write but with advice from my team and medical advisers, I have been advised to take some time off from physical activities to attend to a current physical health issue.

“This means I will not be able to meet up to any physical obligation or event for at least the next two weeks so as to get back to full fitness.

“This is quite disheartening for me as I had a few events to attend, host and perform in this timeframe.”

He, however, assured his fans that his media team will hold forth while he is away.

“Meanwhile, my team will make sure that major news, announcements or scheduled posts on my social media platforms will still go on as planned.

“Thank you to my amazing friends, family, flamez, and all who showed me so much love. I will be back stronger.”

JayPaul is part of the former BBNiaja housemates, who made the trip to Dubai as part of their reward for winning the Pepsi task while on the show.

He equally seized the opportunity to send a shout-out to the bottling company, for sponsoring him and his colleagues for the trip.

“And a major thank you and shout-out to the entire @pepsi_naija team for the memorable trip to Dubai. It was a lifetime experience. You all are the definition of love and fun.

“To my amazing housemates, keep giving them hot hot!!! Everywhere flames!” (sic)
