Nigerian singer and songwriter, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, simply known as Iyanya, has explained why he decided to adopt monogamy and date just a single woman at a time.
He stated this while appearing in the latest episode of the Doyin’s Corner podcast hosted by reality star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David.
According to the Akwa Ibom-born artiste, dating multiple women is an “expensive” venture.

Addressing the matter during the interview Iyanya said, “I have priorities. I am too busy. Cheating is expensive.”
Doyin inferred: “Is it? Sure, it is. To maintain one girl is expensive talk more of multiple women.”
The reality show star added that personally, she can’t accept naira from a man, emphasizing that her partner needs to gift her money in dollars.
Meanwhile, Iyanya recently claimed that his estranged girlfriend and Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson nearly cost him his relationship after her allegation.
Yvonne Nelson in her memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’ launched on June 18, 2023, accused Iyanya of cheating on her with Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, while they were dating.
