Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi has become the second Nigerian player with most appearances in the English Premier League (EPL) history.
He achieved the feat following Fulham’s 3-2 derby defeat to West Ham United on Tuesday night.
With the highly intriguing league encounter, the Nigerian international has now made 274 appearances in the English top-flight.
The 28-year-old was previously tied in second position with former Arsenal, Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion hitman, Nwankwo Kanu.

Meanwhile, erstwhile Newcastle United striker, Shola Ameobi tops the chart with 293 EPL appearances.
Iwobi, who is a regular player for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, made his Premier League debut in October 2025 during his time with North London club, Arsenal.
The versatile midfielder featured in 100 league games for the Gunners before moving to Everton where he also appeared 123 times.
He joined Fulham in 2023 and has since then made 51 appearances for the team and scored 12 goals.
