One of Nigeria’s Instagram celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, has deleted all his Instagram posts where he showed off flamboyant lifestyle.
Mompha is being tried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges of fraud amounting to N34 billion.
The Instagram celebrity did not state why he deleted all his social media posts, but observers say it may be connected to the situation Hushpuppi is going through.
When Hushpuppi was arrested by Interpol, the Dubai police which coordinated the operation, said his flamboyant lifestyle which he displayed on Instagram and other social networking site gave him in.
Mompha, who is known to also display his lavish lifestyle on Instagram, caused a stir on the social media when all his posts showing expensive vehicles, cruize in yacht, travels in private jets have all been trashed.
Even after the EFCC arrested him, and when he secured a bail, he continued displaying his fanciful lifestyle. This change of style, observers believe, may have been as a result of the fear of Interpol. t
