In Trump’s inaugural address, only two genders will be recognized in the US

The newly sworn-in 47th US President Donald Trump has said, hence forth, it will be the official policy of the US to recognize only two genders – male and female.

Trump made the disclosure during his swearing-in on January 20 at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington.

Trump took the Oath of Office as the 47th President of the United States in a ceremony attended by his immediate predecessor Joe Biden, ex-presidents Barack Obama, George W Bush, Bill Clinton and former Vice President Mike Pence.

The ceremony was held indoors at the Capitol Rotunda due to dangerously cold temperatures, making it the coldest Inauguration Day since 1985.

Trump was sworn in at exactly 6:02 pm Nigerian time with two Bibles. One is a personal Bible given to him by his mother in 1955, and another is the historic Lincoln Bible.
