President of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has warned the Ogun and Lagos state governors to either open the church for worship or they would be force to open it.
Oyedepo, speaking on a Sunday Service, from Canaanland, Otta, in a live broadcast said the church cannot be fooled anymore: “they are not going to tell us when to go to church, and when to close.
“Some states have open up for worship except Ogun and Lagos States where the highest word is coming from.
“The two states where we have the largest single congregation, and Redemption camp where people flow is shut down. Is there no longer freedom of worship in the constitution?”
He said Coronavirus has suddenly become ‘anti church virus.’
“It is now anti church virus. It is no longer Coronavirus.
“Nigerian Coronavirus goes to the church. You could see the anger in them for churches to be open. Yes the gods of the world is behind it, but there are human beings he uses for instruments. I don’t know these individuals, I would have called their names.”
“There is no outbreak from the market, but there is out break in the church.
“Has anybody been healed in the market? But there is healing in the church. We have from this church recorded 114 Coronavirus victims that were healed including doctors.
“We have ten this week, but non has been healed in the market and yet, the church which is God’s healing centre is shutdown and the market is open daily.
“They are not saying anything on opening schools but the boys and girls are in the market places helping their parents, which is the most vulnerable place in the world,” he argued.
He explained that the Christians have two church according to Bible in Acts 5:42, the house to house Fellowship, and the Temple.
“We have been doing the house to house church, and we have left the Temple. We will not take one and give the other to the devil. No.
“We are not going to watch the Temple shutdown for life. The devil cannot take the house of God from us. We are not going to do house alone, the temple must be open.
“Is there no more freedom of worship in the constitution or is it now determined by individuals?” he queried.
Oyedepo, who led his congregation during an online service into five minutes of vengeance prayer, warned that it is a hard thing to kick against the priest of God.
He declared that the God of the church that neither sleeps nor slumber is stepping in this week and Nigerians shall hear the news.
