The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has felicitated with the Party’s Southeast Zone for its successful conduct of its Zonal Congress which was held on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu in Enugu State.
In a statement signed signed by the Imo PDP publicity secretary, Ogubundu Nwadike, the party also congratulates the new Zonal Executive Committee led by Chief Ali Odefa, the National Vice Chairman, (Southeast), including: Hon. Casmir Ugwu, Zonal Secretary; Hon. Emeka Okeke, Zonal Treasurer; Hon. Chief James Ugwu, Zonal Financial Secretary; Hon. Chief Lazarus Ogbee, Zonal Auditor; Hon. Mrs. Mary Omile, Zonal Women Leader; Hon. Chidiebere Egwu Zonal, Youth Leader; Barr. Ukpai Ukairo, Zonal Legal Adviser; and other Ex-officio members.
“Our Party particularly congratulates the victorious Imo PDP candidates, including Chief Mike Ahumibe, who emerged as Zonal Organizing Secretary; Engr. Augustine Elochokwu Okeke, Zonal Publicity Secretary; Chief Chinemerem Madu, National Ex-officio; and Sir Stanley Ekezie Zonal Ex-officio.
“The Party notes with pride that all the newly elected Zonal Officers, especially those from Imo PDP, are leaders of the Party, with tested and proven capacities, which are products of their sustainable discipline, humility, loyalty, integrity and sense of responsibility.
“The Party is strongly convinced that the new Zonal Executive Committee will continue from where their predecessors stopped, and go on to reinvigorate and reposition the Party for future electoral victories in the Wards, LGAs, State, Zone and National levels.
