I’ll sustain anti smuggling activities at Seme, says Wada

Acting Customs Area Controller of Seme Border, Dalha Cheidi Wada has promised to step up the tempo of anti smuggling activities in the area.


Wada who said this while taking over from the former Controller, Mohammed Uba Garba, also solicited more cooperation from officers of the command and operatives of other security agencies.


The Controller added that he will oversee uncompromising enforcement of all laid down rules and directives while working to make the place a no go area for smugglers and persons involved in other forms of illegalities.

According to a press release by the Customs Public Relations Officer for the command, Hussaini Abdullahi, Uba in his farewell address, wished the acting Area Controller a successful tenure and advised him to remain firm and resolute in decision making so as to effectively discharge the new responsibility bestowed upon him.
