Ikedieze, Iheme lead stars to O’jez’s Independence Celebrity Nite

To mark Nigeria’s 54th Independence anniversary on Wednesday, October 1, Celebrity restaurant, O’jez, in National Stadium premises, Lagos, has concluded plans to host a mega show tagged O’jez Independence Celebrity Nite.

 

Aki-and-PawpawIt will be headlined by Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Osita Iheme (Paw Paw).

One other person expected to perform at the night that will feature music and drama performances, dance as well as stand-up comedy, include Charles Inojie.

 

Nollywood comedy star actors, Aki and Paw Paw alongside Inojie are expected to be hosts of the evening which will also have in attendance celebrities such as Ejike Asiegbu, Zach Orji, Okey Bakassi, Ibinabo Fiberisima, Steve Eboh (Ajebo) and producer, Chidi Nwokeabia.

 

“It is our own way of celebrating Nigeria, as this country has come of age,” said MD/C.E.O of O’jez, Joseph Odobeatu.

The O’jez Independence Celebrity Nite, which is scheduled to begin at 6.30pm, will feature fast-rising comedian, Elder O, alongside celebrated comics such as Elenu and MC Shakara among other up-and-coming comedians.

 

Physically challenged dancer, Crazy Legs, who is fast becoming the toast of many showbiz events will be on call alongside Exotic Dancers group, while the O’jez band featuring Colours and Tony Okri would be on hand to thrill guests to a night of good music.

 

One of the main acts of the night is Rotimi, leader of the Alpha Band. Rotimi, an eclectic dancer and singer, is always a delight to watch on stage. It is also a night that will give opportunity to young new acts like Zee Boy and Zee Girl to showcase their acts.
