Iheanacho’s assist helps Leicester snatch late draw against Burnley

Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, came from the bench to provide an assist for Jamie Verdy, to earn a late draw against lowly placed Burnley.

In a matched played at the King Power Stadium, home ground of Leicester City , the away side scored twice to earn a precious draw.

The home side dominated possession in the first half but suffered an early own goal when Jamie Vardy, turned the ball from a corner kick into his own net 12 mins into the game.

He atoned for his initial error, when he equalized for Leicester on the 37th min after receiving a telling pass from Youri Tielemans.

Burnley waited for just 3 mins, before taking the lead again in the 40th min through it’s new acquisition, Maxwell Cornet.

Jamie Vardy equalized for the Leicester City on the 85th minute after an assist from Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho to end the game 2-2.
