Leicester manager, Brendan Rogers, has confirmed that Nigerian striker, Kelechi Ịheanachọ, will miss Thursday’s game against Legia Warsaw in Poland.
According to the manager, the 24-year-old forward was unable to complete the documentation needed to travel to the Polish capital.
He will, therefore, miss their second Group C Europa League match against their Eastern European opponent, Legia Warsaw, who currently tops the group.
“We have had an issue with Kelechi. His documentation coming into the country wasn’t sufficient, so he wasn’t able to travel. He will be unavailable for the game.” Rogers said.
Leicester City is currently third in the group having drawn their first group game against Italian Seria A side, Napoli, who occupies the second position.
The English Premiership League side will likely miss the services of Iheanacho, who was instrumental to drawing their last EPL game against Burnley.
