Ejuke, Iheanacho and Osayi-Samuel on arrival will join 20 other Nigerian players for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Libya

La Liga duo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke, as well Bright Osayi-Samuel are expected to hit Super Eagles’ Uyo camp on Wednesday for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya.
The team’s Four Points by Sheraton Hotel base came alive on Tuesday following the arrival of majority of the invited players.
Twenty players trained at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday night.
Iheanacho, Ejuke and Osayi-Samuel upon arrival are expected to join the team’s training session later on Wednesday evening.

The session is, however, expected to be behind closed doors.
The Mediterranean Knights of Libya will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, October 11.
They will then host the three-time African champions in Benina four days later.
The Super Eagles currently lead Group A of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers with four points from two games after beating Benin Republic in Uyo and drawing against Rwanda.
Libya on the other hand are bottom of the group after drawing at home against Rwanda and losing to Benin Republic in their second game.
