His YPP scored 6485, followed in a distant second by Soludo’s APGA that polled 3369. The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) came third with 1511, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) garnered 1278 votes.

#Anambra originally had 4,608 polling units, but INEC created additional 1,112 for the purpose of this election. 86 polling units have no registered voters; hence, elections won’t be taking place there.

Ifranyi Ubah, is the chairman of a football club, Ifeanyi Ubah FC.

In 2014, Ubah lost at the 2014 Anambra gubernatorial election under the platform of the Labour Party. On 24 February 2019(5 years later), Ifeanyi Ubah was declared winner of the Anambra South Senatorial elections under the platform of the Young Progressive Party (YPP).
