Pundit and former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright, has praised the club’s January signing, Leandro Trossard, following his contribution to the Gunners’ 3-0 win on Sunday.
Trossard registered a hat-trick of assists in the first half of Arsenal’s Premier League win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The Belgian set up Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard’s goals in the match, aiding Mikel Arteta’s men to cruise to a comfortable win in the London derby.

Reacting to Trossard’s influence on the game, Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, said that the 28-year-old Belgium international is a great addition to the Gunners’ squad.
“Since he has [Trossard] come, he has contributed right from the off, They could not get near him, in his movement, whether he came in from the left or he came from the centre. He can get himself in this position (goalscoring positions) and not panic,” Wright told Premier League Production.
He went on to describe Trossard as an “unbelievable player”, given his ability and the circumstances that brought him to the Emirates.
He added: “When you consider the signings we were trying to make and we ended up getting someone like Trossard, it was a blessing. He has come into the team, and he has hit the ground running.
“When you’ve a player of that calibre, who is a very, very good player. To get a signing like that, who can come in and be up to speed, is invaluable to us. He’s shown that from the first game until now. He has been an unbelievable addition to the squad,”
Arsenal with the win over Fulham regained a 5 points lead over their closest rivals, Manchester City.
