The new twist added to the Big Brother Nigeria season 6 Shine Ya Eye edition, did not seem to sit well with Pere, one of the housemates who had survived voting eviction but asked again to play a game that will determine his eligibility for the final round.

Biggie had evicted 5 of the 6 housemates who were up for eviction yesterday, only to ask Pere and Angel, who came 2nd and 3rd respectively to fight for the final slot, having given one of the remaining two slots to White Money who came first.

Pere, while having a conversation with Angel in the white room where they were waiting for the game to begin, said he would have preferred to leave the show than participate in the game.

According to him, it would have saved him the trouble since the opportunity has presented itself, he would go ahead with the task.

”Having to play this game to win to go back again, I prefer they made anyone else the addition because I rather choose to leave. I prefer to leave rather than play this game. However, as the situation is, I have been given another chance so I will just take it but no one understands how I feel,” Pere said.

Fans of the show have criticized Biggie’s decision of introducing the twist, saying having won over one-third of the votes, the 34-year-old deserves a place in the final.

They also believe the action gave undue advantage to his opponent, Angel, who should have been sent home having gathered lesser votes than him.
