.Meets with PDP stakeholders

His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (Agbogidi), the Obi of Onitsha, is an inspiration to Igbo land (Ala-Igbo) and a true blessing to Anambra State, Nigeria, and Africa.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) frontrunner in the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial election, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, stated this while felicitating with the Onitsha monarch on his 80th birthday.
From his Udoka Housing Estate, Awka campaign office, Ozigbo, the immediate past president and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, thanked the Almighty God for the blessings of long life and wisdom in the life of the revered monarch.
His words: “Today, I have the pleasure of joining the millions of Ndi Anambra worldwide in celebrating our foremost monarch, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha and the Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers of Anambra State, as he marks his 80th Birthday.
“An accomplished professional before he ascended the revered throne, Igwe Achebe is an outstanding leader, a wise king, and an inspiration to the entire Ala-Igbo.
“I have been privileged to enjoy the mentorship and friendship of His Royal Highness for over 15 years. His wisdom is timeless, his humanity is uncommon, and he is a true blessing to Anambra, Nigeria and the continent of Africa.”
Ozigbo, a celebrated global CEO who is the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, also prayed blessings upon the life of Igwe Achebe and wished the entire Onitsha kingdom peace and prosperity the monarch’s reign.
“Your Highness, as you mark this milestone birthday, I have nothing but gratitude in my heart,” Ozigbo said. “May the Almighty bless you abundantly, strengthen, and protect you. May your Kingdom enjoy prosperity and peace under your leadership.”
Igwe Achebe will be celebrating 20 years on the throne of the Obi of Onitsha later in the year.
Meanwhile, as part of his campaign strategy, Ozigbo, in the past 19 months, has visited the 21 local government areas in Anambra State minimum of five times to recreate meaningful connects with Ndi Anambra at the grassroots.
On Tuesday, he met with the top Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakehoders, party officials, and political families from Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
He said that top on his agenda was the unveiling of KA ANAMBRA CHAWAPU Manifesto to the people.
He said, “Our plan to restore Anambra’s glory was given high marks and we received key endorsement at the event.
“I am grateful for the confidence placed on me by Ndi Anambra whenever I interact with them. It is a sign that we are on a divinely orchestrated path and we are doing things right.”
