Hollywood comic actor, Martin Mull dies at 80

Veteran American actor, comedian and singer, Martin Mull has passed on.

He reportedly gave up the ghost at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday at the age of 80.

His death was confirmed by his wife, Wendy Mull on Friday, stating that he died after a prolonged illness.

Also confirming his passing, his daughter, Maggie Mull, who is a TV writer and comic artiste, said his father will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Speaking via an Instagram post, she said: “My dad will be deeply missed by his wife and daughter, by his friends and coworkers, by fellow artists and comedians and musicians, and —the sign of a truly exceptional person— by many, many dogs.”

Martin Mull’s co-star in the series ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ Melissa Joan Hart while paying tribute to him on Instagram, described him as “a wonderful man who I am better for knowing.”
