Big Brother Naija 7 ‘Level Up’ housemate and the new Head of House (HoH), Adekunle, has explained why he picked Khalid for possible eviction.

Adekunle on Monday, August 8, emerged as the third HoH, replacing fellow Level 1 housemate, Hermes, and on the same day nominated five of the housemates for possible eviction next Sunday.

He emerged as the new HOH after beating Khalid and Pharmsavi in the run-off contest whose winner would be crowned as the next leader of the house.

Adekunle won the final contest with 25 points,  narrowly beating Level 2 Housemates, Pharmsavi and Khalid who finished with 23 points each.

He then proceeded to nominate Khalid, whom he defeated to become the HoH, and added Bryann, Ilebaye, Phyna and Groovy to the list.

Giving his reason for nominating Khalid, during his Diary session with Biggie, Adekunle asserted that the Jos-born housemate is quite competitive in the HoH games and he is a threat to his ambition of winning the N100m grand prize.

He said, “Khalid is a strong player, since we played all the games, he’s been in all finals.

“For myself and people like me to stand a chance, I have to put up one of the strongest housemates in the house.”

Khalid, who is romantically entangled with Daniella in the Level 2 house, was nominated for eviction last week by Hermes, alongside Phyna, Cyph, Christy O and Amaka.

He, however, survived while Cyph and Christy O became the first two housemates to be evicted this season.  On the same night,  Beauty was also disqualified after earning  3 strikes in two weeks.
