The President, Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has flagged off seven days prayer and fasting towards the Rescue of Nigeria.

Oyedepo announced this on Monday in the church’s headquarters at Canaanland, Otta, Ogun State.

The cleric asked:

“Where is the list of Boko-haram members they released? Did they undergo trials? Let us not be deceived, Boko Haram are the ones wearing uniforms as soldiers. They kill the same way Boko Haram kills.”

Besides, he urged Christians to wake up from their slumber and utilise the authority of God in them to stop the country from falling into religious war because it hardly ends.

He said that the mission was to silence the church of Christ in Nigeria.

“We are face to face with the devil. The sons of the wicked are determined to destroy this nation. But we will move and cry to God for him to take over the battle.

“Wake up! What you don’t prevent will prevail. What you don’t clear off will first clear you off. If you are not careful, they will announce that for security reasons don’t go to church and from there they will  succeed in scaring people away from going to church which is their main mission, and to establish Jihad in the nation.

“I stood here to warn and I was crying but some pastors, in fact they are not pastors but passerby, were saying; are you the only one? Now see. What has happened in Nigeria in the past years. People are dying and nobody is saying anything,” he said.

But he said that the authorities involved would be visited with the wrath of God as predicted in Joel chapter 2 verse 20.
